Number Theory

This talk is part of a special Number Theory Seminar which will feature talks by Haruzo Hida and Nike Vatsal.

I will present an idea of how to describe (to some extent conjecturally) the explicit generators of Tate cycles under correspondence action in quaternionic Shimura varieties.
