Steph van Willigenburg has been awarded the Mathematical Association of America Robbins Prize for 2023! This prize is awarded every three years and honours the authors of a paper reporting on novel research in algebra, combinatorics, or discrete mathematics. Papers are judged on quality of research, clarity of exposition, and accessibility to undergraduates. Steph’s paper "Resolving Stanley’s e-positivity of claw-contractible-free graphs” was written jointly with Samantha Dahlberg (who you may remember as a postdoc here) and her collaborator Angèle Foley from Wilfrid Laurier University.
