Liam Watson

Faculty

Liam Watson received his PhD from Université de Québec à Montréal in 2009. Before moving to UBC he held positions at UCLA (Hedrick Assistant Professor), University of Glasgow (Reader in Mathematics), and Université de Sherbrooke (Canada Research Chair in low-dimensional topology). 

His research is in low-dimensional topology, with a focus on understanding and applying homological invariants such as Heegaard Floer theory and Khovanov homology.
